Manchester United reportedly intend to discuss a new long-term contract with Marcus Rashford before the end of the season.
On the back of making 286 appearances for United in all competitions, the 24-year-old recently reiterated his commitment to his boyhood club.
However, the academy graduate has struggled for form since returning from a shoulder injury in October, contributing just three goals and one assist from his 15 appearances.
According to the Daily Mail, United, as expected, still want to agree fresh terms with the England international, who is effectively tied to Old Trafford until the end of 2023-24.
The report suggests that Rashford may not be in any rush to pen a new deal while he is struggling for any consistency and doubts remain over the club's managerial position in the long term.
If reports are to be believed, interim boss Ralf Rangnick is yet to fully convince behind the scenes, resulting in constant speculation regarding another candidate being brought in as a replacement in the summer. body check tags ::
