Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho is now one of Manchester United's prime summer transfer targets, according to a report.
United are said to have prioritised bringing in an attacker ahead of next season and Sancho fits the profile of the type of player they are after.
The Independent suggests that the Red Devils have been impressed by the level of the England international's displays in the Bundesliga this term and feel that his £80m price tag is justified.
Dortmund would prefer to keep the player for another year, however, and they are confident that the 18-year-old sees the benefit of staying in Germany until 2020.
Manchester City are believed to have the option to match any offer United make, and they have also included a 15% sell-on clause for anything above the £8m mark.
Sancho left Man City in 2017 and has gone on to star for Dortmund, playing a direct part in 18 Bundesliga goals this campaign alone.
