Manchester United have reportedly been told that it would take £52m to prise Christopher Nkunku away from RB Leipzig this summer.

The 24-year-old continues to star in the final third for the Bundesliga side and has amassed a staggering 30 goals and 19 assists in 44 appearances across all tournaments this season.

Nkunku's form has unsurprisingly led to links with numerous clubs across Europe, with Paris Saint-Germain, Man United, Real Madrid and Liverpool all linked with a bid.

Now, Bild claims that Leipzig have no intention to part ways with Nkunku ahead of the 2022-23 season, but a fee of £52m could persuade them to do business.

The report adds that Nkunku's lack of international experience could make it difficult for English clubs to secure a move for the Frenchman, so PSG could have been handed a boost in their pursuit.

Nkunku is under contract at Leipzig until the summer of 2024, but a new deal for the former PSG youngster is not thought to be out of the question.
