Manchester United have reportedly decided to launch a second bid to lure Toni Kroos to the Premier League.
It was thought that the German midfielder, then of Bayern Munich, had all but agreed a switch to Old Trafford two years ago.
However, speculation at the time suggested that incoming manager Louis van Gaal had vetoed the move and Kroos instead sealed an £18m transfer to Real Madrid.
Now, though, with Van Gaal's future uncertain, The Mirror has claimed that the Red Devils are ready to renew their interest in the 26-year-old.
Kroos has featured on a regular basis this season, but there have been rumours of late that he has grown frustrated with life at the Bernabeu and is keen to continue his career elsewhere.
