Manchester United have reportedly again scouted Lyon forward Moussa Dembele as they consider a swoop for the Frenchman during the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old has been strongly linked with Chelsea in recent days, but United are also understood to be interested in signing the striker having watched him during the 2019-20 campaign.
According to French journalist Ignazio Genuardi, the Red Devils had scouts in attendance for Lyon's Ligue 1 clash with Bordeaux on Saturday, where Dembele provided a goal and an assist in his team's 2-1 win.
The former Fulham youngster has now managed 14 goals in all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign, including 11 in 19 Ligue 1 outings.
Chelsea have allegedly already seen a £34m bid rejected with Lyon seemingly determined to keep hold of Dembele until at least the summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be monitoring developments, with Jose Mourinho's side in the market for a new striker due to Harry Kane's absence.
