Scouts from Manchester United were reportedly present as Fiorentina recorded a 2-1 victory over Udinese yesterday afternoon.
It is believed that the subject of their trip was Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado, who scored the game's opening goal.
United manager David Moyes is eager to bolster his wide options during the summer transfer window, with the Colombian international's versatility an attractive quality, according to the Daily Mail.
However, the report added that the Red Devils may have competition should they try to sign the 25-year-old, with Bayern Munich and Arsenal also said to be interested in his services.
Cuadrado is co-owned by Udinese, which would mean that any switch would also have to meet their approval.
