Manchester United have reportedly identified West Ham United defender Issa Diop as a summer transfer target.
United have been linked with a number of centre-backs since the start of 2019, the latest being Leicester City's Harry Maguire, who could cost as much as £90m.
However, according to Sky Sports News, United hold an interest in Diop after the 22-year-old's strong opening campaign in the Premier League.
The Frenchman made a total of 38 appearances in all competitions, which included 33 starts in the top flight as West Ham narrowly missed out on qualifying for next season's Europa League.
The report claims that the North-West outfit are willing to pay £45m plus a player in order to get a deal over the line.
West Ham are unlikely to entertain any offers for Diop, who still has four years left on his contract at the London Stadium.
