Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku.
The former Paris Saint-Germain starlet has enjoyed a prolific season with the Bundesliga side in 2021-22, registering 25 goals and 13 assists in 36 appearances across all tournaments.
Nkunku's feats are believed to have attracted the attention of both Man United and Arsenal, although Leipzig would supposedly demand a fee of £62.5m to part ways with the 24-year-old.
However, Sky Deutschland reports that Man United are not put off by Leipzig's price tag and continue to show 'great interest' in signing the Frenchman this summer.
The report adds that Nkunku's existing contract at Leipzig does not include a release clause, but the Red Devils will have to fork out at least €60m (£49.7m) to land the former France Under-21 international.
Nkunku's old employers PSG and Manchester City are also said to be monitoring the situation, with the attacker's deal at Leipzig due to run until the summer of 2024.
