Manchester United are reportedly still in pole position to sign free-scoring striker Erling Braut Haaland when the January transfer window opens for business.
The 19-year-old has been in fine form for Red Bull Salzburg during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 28 occasions in 22 appearances in all competitions.
Haaland has allegedly visited the training grounds of RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund amid suggestions that he is heading for the Bundesliga at the start of 2020.
However, according to The Telegraph, who cite sources in Austria, United remain the 'frontrunners' to complete a deal for the teenager ahead of the second half of the 2019-20 season.
The report claims that Haaland favours a move to Old Trafford over a switch to Germany, while the presence of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - who managed the forward at Molde - is another key factor.
The Norway international allegedly has a £17m release clause in his current deal with Salzburg, which is expected to see him move on in the winter market.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have both been impressive for the Red Devils in recent weeks, but the club are still short in the final third following the summer departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
