Manchester United are reportedly set to hold out for at least £40m for Jadon Sancho this summer.
The 23-year-old returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan in the January window following a public falling out with Man United boss Erik ten Hag.
Sancho was exiled from Man United's first-team setup in September after he hit back at Ten Hag's comments over his application in training.
The winger, who previously played for Dortmund between 2017 and 2021, has registered two assists in three Bundesliga appearances since returning to the German club.
While Sancho will spend the remainder of the season with Dortmund, Man United are expected to listen to transfer offers in the summer window.
According to Football Insider, the Red Devils could set Sancho's asking price in the region of £40m to £50m despite his time with the club being largely unsuccessful.
Man United are seemingly keen to recoup a significant proportion of the reported £73m that they paid Dortmund to sign him in 2021.
Despite being back at Signal Iduna Park, Sancho is unlikely to join the club on a permanent deal following comments from the club's sporting director Sebastian Kehl, who admitted that it would be "very very difficult" to pull off such a transfer.
In addition to Man United's asking price, the Bundesliga club would also struggle to match the player's wage demands.
Sancho is believed to be earning around £250,000 a week at Old Trafford, with his current deal set to run until the summer of 2026.
During his time with the Red Devils, Sancho has scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 82 competitive appearances.
While his future continues to generate speculation, the attacker will be currently focused on getting back to full fitness after missing Saturday's clash with Heidenheim.
Sancho was forced to sit out the goalless draw due to a muscle problem, and he remains a doubt for Friday's meeting with Freiburg.
