Manchester United are reportedly prepared to offer Birmingham City £15m for teenager Jude Bellingham.
The 16-year-old - considered to be one of the best youngsters in English football - has scored four times in 24 Championship appearances for the Blues during the 2019-20 campaign.
Bellingham's current deal at St Andrew's will expire in the summer of 2021, though, and there has been widespread speculation surrounding the midfielder since the January transfer window opened for business.
According to The Sun, United are preparing to make a £15m offer in the hope of securing his signature ahead of Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The report claims that Birmingham could be forced to accept the offer but are keen for Bellingham to remain on loan with the club for the remainder of the season.
The academy product, who is thought to still be on a youth wage of £145 a week, was on the scoresheet in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Cardiff City.
