Manchester United reportedly want to complete the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho before the Euro 2020 tournament kicks off in June.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the England international for over a year and came close to signing him last summer, but they were not prepared to match the German club's £108m valuation of the player.
According to Bild, United remain interested in Sancho and will look to wrap up a £77m deal before the winger inevitably joins up with Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to have turned his attention to recruiting a right winger as opposed to a centre-forward, after Edinson Cavani signed a new one-year deal with the club on Monday.
United have previously been linked with a move for Sancho's teammate Erling Braut Haaland, as well as Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane, but now the club are seemingly distancing themselves from potential transfer saga's involving two of Europe's most sought-after strikers.
Since Sancho left Manchester City in August 2017, the winger has made 134 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions, scoring 48 goals and providing 62 assists. body check tags ::
