Manchester United are reportedly planning a move for Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa in the summer transfer window.
The Portugal international started all five of his country's matches at the World Cup as they were knocked out in the quarter-finals.
Portuguese outlet CM Jornal reports that the Red Devils are set to make a big-money move for the 23-year-old in the summer, with a January transfer ruled out by the Dragoes.
The outlet claims that the player's agent Jorge Mendes has begun working on a deal to bring his client to the Premier League, with the €75m (£66.2m) release clause in Costa's new contract being the only significant stumbling block.
David de Gea's future at Old Trafford is still unresolved, although renewal talks have begun and the Spaniard recently claimed that he hopes to retire at the club.
Costa has featured in 20 matches for Porto in the Primeira Liga and the Champions League so far this season, keeping nine clean sheets and conceding 17 goals.
