Manchester United are reportedly still locked in negotiations with Sporting Lisbon over the fee for Portugal international Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes has impressed for Sporting this season and is wanted at Old Trafford this month in order to bolster the United midfield.
According to The Mirror, the two clubs are yet to agree a fee, with Sporting demanding £55m up front but United wanting to pay closer to £50m.
The report adds that the deal could eventually reach £65m and that personal terms have been agreed.
In 15 Primeira Liga appearances this season the 25-year-old has scored eight goals and registered seven assists, while he has also managed five goals in the Europa League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are currently very short on midfield options, with Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay both injured and Nemanja Matic and Andreas Pereira linked with moves away.
