Manchester United have reportedly not yet made a decision on the futures of Edinson Cavani and Juan Mata.
Both players will be out of contract at the end of the current season, but the Red Devils have the option of activating 12-month extensions in their deals.
Cavani joined the 20-time English champions on a free transfer last summer and has been in impressive form for the club, scoring seven times in 23 appearances in all competitions.
The 33-year-old has netted in United's last two Premier League matches, meanwhile, and appears to have replaced Anthony Martial as the club's first-choice centre-forward.
Mata, though, has only featured on six occasions in the league this term and has not been involved in England's top flight since playing the final 16 minutes against Sheffield United back in December.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United, who are next in action away to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, have not yet made a firm decision on the future of either player.
Mata has been linked with a return to Spain, while a recent report claimed that Boca Juniors had been in touch with Cavani over the possibility of a move in the summer of 2022.
