Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward has reportedly flown to Spain to try to finalise a deal for Barcelona forward Pedro.
The 28-year-old has long been rumoured to be on the Red Devils' radar after failing to cement a first-team place at the Camp Nou last season.
According to The Mirror, Woodward landed in Barcelona ahead of the Spanish Super Cup second leg between the Blaugrana and Athletic Bilbao, to complete a £22m deal for the Spain international.
Man Utd manager Louis van Gaal has so far recruited Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and goalkeeper Sergio Romero this summer.
