Manchester United reportedly remain convinced that they will be able to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The youngster left Manchester City to move to the Westfalenstadion in August 2017, and the England international has proven to be a huge hit at the Bundesliga outfit.
However, the 18-year-old's form has led to interest from the Premier League, with United said to be keen to secure the signature of the prospect at the end of the season.
Dortmund want to keep Sancho in Germany, but according to the London Evening Standard, United feel that a bid in excess of £80m will be enough to complete a deal.
The report quotes a source as saying that United are "doing everything they can to sign him", while there is no clause in the player's contract which prevents a transfer to City's fierce rivals.
Sancho still has over three years remaining on his Dortmund contract.
