Manchester United have been handed a boost in their alleged chase of Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa.
Having netted 29 goals from 139 appearances for Viola in all competitions, Chiesa is wanted by a number of top European clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea.
With the 22-year-old having just over two years left on his contract, it now appears that club owner Rocco Commisso is ready to cash in on his most prized asset.
Speaking to Radio Bruno Toscana, Commisso said: "We had a meeting before Christmas if I'm not mistaken.
"If he wants to go then I'm sorry, but we'd accommodate him, providing the offer is fair. We must also see what he's worth. His price may have dropped since last year. It must suit everyone, although there's a chance that he'll stay."
Juventus are also said to hold an interest in the Italy international.
