Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to watch 18-year-old Dinamo Bucharest winger Dorian Rotariu.

While United have several young wingers including Adnan Januzaj and Wilfried Zaha, the club's older wide players have fallen out of favour with boss David Moyes.

Rotariu's agent, Victor Becali, told Sport FM: "They watch young players these days. It may be Rotariu is being watched by several clubs. The player has been wanted for a long period of time.

"They take everything into account; they see if a football player fits the profile of the country, they see what kind of man he is and what kind of character he has.

"Discussions have not started yet. If they do, it will be during the transfer window."

Rotariu has scored six goals for Dinamo Bucharest this season.
