Manchester United and Manchester City have reportedly registered an interest in RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
While the France international has long been linked with a transfer to the Premier League, the centre-back opted to pen a new contract earlier this year.
However, that agreement came with a release clause being inserted in the 22-year-old's deal, leaving an exit likely during the summer window.
According to Bild, United, City and Real Madrid have already indicated that they want to sign the player for a fee believed to be €45m (£40.38m).
Bayern Munich are also said to be in the running for Upamecano after they decided against offering fresh terms to Jerome Boateng.
The player's performances have led to him earning his first three caps for France during 2020.
