Manchester United have reportedly missed out on securing the signature of Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowksi.
The Poland international has been heavily tipped to join the Red Devils in the summer in a big-money switch from the Bundesliga.
Despite United's reported interest, it is believed that Lewandowski will opt to sign for Bayern Munich under new manager Pep Guardiola, according to TuttoMercato.
The 24-year-old comes to the end of his current contract in 2014.
