Manchester United are allegedly prepared to offer Paul Pogba a new long-term contract worth £500,000 per week, despite the midfielder revealing that he is ready for a new challenge.
After a mixed campaign at Old Trafford, there has been frequent speculation regarding the future of the 26-year-old as Real Madrid continue to be linked with an approach.
Pogba - said to be valued in the region of £150m - suggested on Sunday that he was keen to leave Old Trafford before the start of next season.
However, the Daily Mail claims that United are ready to respond with an offer which would see the France international receive an extra £200,000 per week.
The report says that chief executive Ed Woodward sees value in the deal due to Pogba's worth off the pitch, while fellow big earner Alexis Sanchez could also move on this summer.
Real are unlikely to consider meeting those figures unless they are able to part ways with Gareth Bale.
