Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Sevilla defensive midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to reports.
The Red Devils are reportedly looking to strengthen their midfield with Michael Carrick's contract expiring in the summer, while Bastian Schweinsteiger has struggled with injuries in his first campaign.
With Arsenal said to be on the verge of signing Granit Xhaka, The Sun claims that the Red Devils are now in pole position to bring Krychowiak - previously on the Gunners' radar - to Old Trafford.
Krychowiak, a Poland international expected to play at Euro 2016, has helped Sevilla to win the Europa League for the last two seasons.
