Manchester United are allegedly contemplating a January offer for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
While the Senegal international has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford in the past, Napoli have always rejected any interest.
However, speaking to Reach's Transfer Window Podcast, Ian McGarry has claimed that the centre-back has told his club of his desire to leave at the beginning of 2020.
McGarry added that United have already made contact with the Serie A outfit about putting together a proposal for the player.
With Carlo Ancelotti having worked with the 28-year-old during his time in Naples, Everton have also been credited with an interest.
Despite his valuation going down over the past six months, Napoli may still look to recoup in excess of £60m for his services.
