Rangers and Brighton & Hove Albion are among the clubs looking to sign Manchester United's James Garner on loan for the 2021-22 season, according to the youngster's agent.
The 20-year-old enjoyed two loan spells with Watford and Nottingham Forest in the Championship last term, and he caught the eye at the latter with four goals from 20 second-tier appearances under Chris Hughton.
Garner has since been tipped to head out on loan once again in order to continue his development, and a temporary switch to a foreign club has been mooted.
However, Garner's agent Steven Beck has now hinted that a move closer to home could be on the cards, telling Stretty News: "Third loan? – I honestly don't know.
"I had a couple of chats with John Murtough last week, but I'm so relaxed on the situation, as is James because things are going so well for him.
"James has put himself in a great position where he's probably going to have, if he does go out on loan again, the majority of the Championship and I would be amazed if one or two Premier League clubs don't try and do something.
"I know Brighton like him, I know Norwich City like him. I know Rangers are really keen on him as well."
Garner - who flourished in a deep-lying role at Forest - has already made seven appearances for the United first team. body check tags ::
