Manchester City are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The 26-year-old is thought to be in high demand amongst Europe's top clubs having scored 39 goals in 46 games last season.
The likes of Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked with the Gabon international, but respected journalist Gianluca di Marzio claims that City are now leading the race.
The report states that talks between the parties are ongoing as incoming manager Pep Guardiola looks to improve upon the squad that only managed a fourth-place finish in the Premier League last season.
City have already signed Ilkay Gundogan from Dortmund this summer, bringing the Germany international to the Etihad Stadium for £21m.
