Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Alex Telles and are now holding discussions with Porto over a transfer fee.
The 27-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for his Portuguese club, scoring 13 times and providing 12 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.
The left-back has also made a strong start to the current season, netting twice and providing one assist in two league outings, and he was in the side against Boavista on Saturday despite the recent speculation.
United have been strongly linked with the Brazil international over the last few weeks, and it has been reported that he is available for £25m with his contract due to expire next summer.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions have now agreed personal terms with Telles and are currently in discussions with Porto over a transfer fee.
The South American is allegedly determined to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side before the transfer deadline.
