Manchester United's reported pursuit of Edinson Cavani has been dealt a blow by the player's agent, who insists that his client will not leave Paris Saint-Germain next month.
The striker joined the Ligue 1 champions from Napoli in the summer for £55m, but has been linked with a move to the Premier League holders in the January transfer window in recent weeks.
"There is nothing that is brewing," Cavani's agent Claudio Anellucci told Italian television. "He remains in Paris.
"He's fine. Napoli was a nice chapter, like the one in Palermo, but he goes on always trying to improve as a player and his experience. Paris is an important moment for him."
Cavani has scored 16 goals in all competitions for PSG this season.
