Manchester United will reportedly not give up on Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho unless the England international publicly insists that he wants to stay at Signal Iduna Park.
The 20-year-old continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford, although it is believed that the Red Devils are struggling to come to an agreement with BVB over a transfer fee.
Sancho is allegedly keen on a switch to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side but is not prepared to hand in a transfer request in order to force a deal before the end of this summer's transfer window.
According to The Sun, United are not giving up on their pursuit of the former Manchester City youngster and will continue to fight for a move unless Sancho publicly says that he wants to stay put.
The 20-time English champions, who are closing in on a deal for Ajax's Donny van de Beek, are allegedly prepared to pay £70m up front for the attacker, but Dortmund are looking for a fee in excess of £100m.
Sancho enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign at club level, scoring 20 times and contributing 20 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.
