Manchester United have reportedly not yet finalised a deal for Amad Diallo despite announcing that they had reached an agreement to sign the Atalanta BC attacker over the summer.
The Red Devils revealed on transfer deadline day that they had agreed a move for the 18-year-old, but the switch to Old Trafford depended on Diallo finalising personal terms, passing a medical and receiving a work permit.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the 20-time English champions are still attempting to secure a work permit for the attacker, who was born in the Ivory Coast before moving to Italy at a young age.
Diallo has only made three first-team appearances for Atalanta, scoring his first goal for the Italian club against Udinese in October 2019.
The youngster has made the bench on six occasions during the 2020-21 campaign, although he is yet to feature for his current side this term.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team allegedly have 'high hopes' for Diallo, who largely operates as a right winger.
