Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has revealed that Mario Mandzukic is not currently training with the Italian champions amid speculation surrounding the striker's future.
The 33-year-old has not played a single minute of football for the Old Lady this season after being strongly linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.
Manchester United continue to be credited with an interest in the 2018 World Cup finalist, and Sarri's revelation is likely to fuel suggestions that the forward will be leaving Turin in the middle of the 2019-20 campaign.
"In this moment Mario Mandzukic is not training with the group due to an agreement he has with the club," Sarri told reporters ahead of Juve's Serie A clash with Bologna on Saturday night.
Anthony Martial's recent injury problems have harmed United in the final third of the field, with Marcus Rashford struggling to carry the goalscoring burden after both Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku left over the summer.
Mandzukic, who has also recently been linked with a switch to Qatar, has scored 44 times in 162 appearances for Juve - managing double figures in all four of his full seasons with the club.
