Manchester United are reportedly considering a January swoop for Mario Mandzukic, but the Juventus striker will not train with the club next month.
Mandzukic continues to be linked with a move away from the Italian champions having not played a single minute of first-team action for Maurizio Sarri's side this season.
United are believed to be at the head of the queue for the Croatia international, and it has been reported that the experienced forward could start training with the Red Devils in December.
According to Sky Sports News, the 33-year-old will not arrive at the club prior to the opening of the winter window, but the 20-time English champions are considering a mid-season swoop.
Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have both impressed for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in recent matches.
However, the summer departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, who both joined Inter Milan, have left the club short of options at the top end of the field.
