Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is biding his time before deciding whether to commit his future to the club, according to a report.
The 30-year-old, due to be out of contract at the end of the season, is believed to have been offered fresh terms by the Red Devils.
Despite having a new deal on the table, ESPN reports that the Spain international is not yet ready to put pen to paper.
Mata, in line to make his 200th appearance in United colours when Crystal Palace visit Old Trafford on Saturday, will instead wait and evaluate his options.
Arsenal are reportedly among the sides waiting to pounce for Mata at the end of the season if he allows his contract to run down.
United also have two other first-team regulars who will become free agents in the summer, with Ander Herrera and Ashley Young at risk of agreeing a move to a foreign club from January 1.
