Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confessed that he is "worried" Marouane Fellaini could leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season.
The Belgium international, who has grown into a key member of the Red Devils' squad under Mourinho, is one of a number of players due to be out of contract at Old Trafford next summer.
Reports emerged last week suggesting that both Fellaini and midfield teammate Ander Herrera have stalled on agreeing fresh terms, which the United boss admits is a concern with just eight months to run on their respective deals.
"I'm worried about Fellaini and not about Luke Shaw because Fellaini finishes his contract and Luke Shaw doesn't," Mourinho told reporters.
Fellaini, free to speak to foreign clubs from January, joined Man United from Everton for £27.5m in the summer of 2013.
