Manchester United will reportedly listen to suitable offers for Christian Eriksen this summer.
The Denmark international joined the Red Devils on a free transfer in July 2022 after a successful spell at Brentford, and he proved to be a key player for the club during the 2022-23 campaign.
Eriksen made 44 appearances in his first season at Old Trafford, but he only featured 28 times last term, with the emergence of Kobbie Mainoo seeing him drop down the pecking order.
The 32-year-old admitted last season that he was not happy with his bit-part role at Old Trafford, and the midfielder has now entered the final 12 months of his contract.
According to Manchester Evening News, Man United have signalled that they are willing to let Eriksen leave during the current transfer window, providing that a suitable offer arrives for his services.
Man United 'willing' to sell Eriksen this summer
Eriksen, who was in action for Denmark at Euro 2024, contributed only one goal and three assists in 28 appearances for Man United during the 2023-24 campaign.
The experienced midfielder did feature in Man United's final six matches of the Premier League season, but he was an unused substitute in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
Mainoo, who has starred for England at Euro 2024, will again be a starter in the Red Devils midfield next season, while Bruno Fernandes is expected to stay despite the recent speculation.
Man United are also allegedly close to making a final decision on Sofyan Amrabat's future, with the Morocco international potentially arriving on a permanent basis from Fiorentina after spending last season on loan with the 20-time English champions.
Will Man United sign a midfielder this summer?
The Red Devils are currently working on defensive additions, with Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt, Lille's Leny Yoro and Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite all targets.
The club are also close to announcing the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, while Brentford's Ivan Toney is also allegedly being considered as a forward signing this summer.
It is likely that Man United will bring in at least one midfielder, though, as Casemiro and Scott McTominay are also being linked with exits, while Donny van de Beek has left for Girona.
Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte is believed to be Man United's leading midfield target, with the Uruguay international potentially moving to Old Trafford this summer.
The 23-year-old made 37 appearances for PSG last season after arriving from Sporting Lisbon.
