Queens Park Rangers defender Nedum Onuoha has praised his manager Mark Hughes's transfer activity and says that he is "very excited" for the new season.
Since QPR's survival was ensured on the last day of last season Hughes has acted swiftly in the transfer market, bringing in four players on permanent deals and the a long-term loan of Fabio da Silva from Manchester United.
Onuoha told QPR's official website that the signings of Ryan Nelsen, Andrew Johnson, Robert Green and Samba Diakite "all appear to be excellent signings".
"You've got to trust the manager to pick the right players for the club - he's done that in the past," the 25-year-old continued.
"All being well, this should be a better year for us. I'm very excited for the new season."
Onuoha joined QPR in the January transfer window.
