Ousmane Dembele is reportedly open to extending his Barcelona contract and staying with the club beyond this summer.
The 24-year-old will see his current deal at Camp Nou expire in June and he is now free to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs.
After Barca's 4-0 win over Athletic Bilbao last month, in which Dembele scored and provided an assist, head coach Xavi revealed to reporters that "it's not a problem" if the winger commits his future to the Catalan giants.
According to El Partidazo de COPE, Dembele has left the door open to sign a new contract with Barcelona, even though there have been no talks held between his agent and the club in recent weeks.
The report adds that Dembele has been very happy at Barca since the arrival of Xavi in November, with the winger featuring in 12 games across all competitions under the Catalan boss.
Dembele, who has previously been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, is believed to be in no rush to decide where his future lies and is focused fully on finishing the campaign strongly with Barcelona. body check tags ::
