Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to make one final contract offer to Paul Pogba in the hope of convincing the midfielder to move to Paris this summer.

The 29-year-old is preparing to leave Manchester United on a free transfer at the end of next month, and he has almost certainly played his final game for the club, as a calf problem will rule him out of Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Juventus have been in discussions with the France international's representatives over the last week, with the Old Lady determined to re-sign him on a free transfer.

According to the Daily Mail, the Italian giants have offered the World Cup winner a contract worth £30m over the next three seasons.

The report claims that Juventus are confident that they have won the race for the midfielder, who spent four successful years in Turin earlier in his career.

However, PSG are allegedly refusing to give up on their pursuit of the midfielder and will make 'one final contract offer' in the hope of tempting him to Paris.

The French giants have the financial power to hand Pogba a big-money deal this summer despite signing Kylian Mbappe to a lucrative contract.

The midfielder initially left Man United to join the Old Lady in 2012, and he won four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia crowns at the club, before securing a big-money return to Old Trafford.

Pogba, who also continues to be linked with Real Madrid, has largely struggled to show his best form over the last six years, though, finding it difficult to replicate his performances at international level.

The former Le Havre youngster has missed Man United's last four Premier League matches against Arsenal, Chelsea, Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion with the calf issue that he suffered in the middle of April.

Pogba will end the 2021-22 campaign with one goal and nine assists in 27 appearances at club level, while he is set to leave Man United for a second time with a record of 39 goals and 51 assists in 233 outings.

Meanwhile, he made 178 appearances for Juventus during his previous spell at the club, scoring 34 goals and contributing 40 assists.

Pogba allegedly agreed personal terms with Manchester City over a move to Etihad Stadium before changing his mind at the final moment due to fears over a backlash from the Man United fans.

The midfielder has allegedly not been offered a new deal by his current club since last summer, with the 20-time English champions preparing to move on from the Frenchman ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. body check tags ::
