Talks are reportedly underway between Inter Milan officials and the agent of Ivan Perisic over extending the winger's San Siro stay.
The Croatia international appeared to be close to joining Manchester United earlier this summer after Jose Mourinho made contact with the Serie A side.
It has since emerged that Perisic is supposedly open to prolonging his stay in Milan after an agreement between Inter and United could not be reached, and Calciomercato claims that representative Fali Ramadani is currently holding discussions with club chiefs.
United are understood to have offered £44m for the 28-year-old, which fell short of Inter's valuation of the attacking ace.
Perisic has scored 18 goals in 70 league games for Inter since joining from Wolfsburg in 2015.
