Paul Pogba has reportedly expressed a strong determination to leave Manchester United before Euro 2020 kicks off next summer.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season after declaring back in June that he wanted a "new challenge".
Real Madrid made a concerted effort to sign the Frenchman over the transfer window, only for United to hold firm on their £160m valuation of the player.
According to L'Equipe, the Bernabeu remains Pogba's ideal next destination, with the midfielder determined to complete a move to Spain prior to the Euro 2020 finals in June.
Pogba has endured a frustrating campaign under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, managing just five appearances due to a foot injury.
Other reports have claimed that former club Juventus are also interested in doing a deal for Pogba, whose contract expires in 2021.
