Paul Pogba has reportedly informed Manchester United that he intends to join Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 28-year-old's contract at Old Trafford is due to expire in June, and it appears increasingly unlikely that he will be signing a fresh deal with the 20-time English champions.
Real Madrid have long been linked with the World Cup winner, while Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be in the running for his signature this summer.
According to the Daily Star, the France international has told Man United that he wants to move to Los Blancos on a free transfer ahead of next season.
Pogba has not played for the Red Devils since the start of November due to a thigh problem but could be back on the field in the early stages of February.
Man United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has insisted that the midfielder is in his plans for the second half of the campaign despite seemingly wanting to leave on a free transfer this summer. body check tags ::
