Manchester United will reportedly find it difficult to sell Antony during this summer's transfer window due to the ongoing police investigations surrounding the Brazilian.
Antony, 24, arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax in the summer of 2022, with the Red Devils paying in the region of £86m to bring the forward to the club.
However, the Brazil international has struggled to make his mark for the 20-time English champions, only managing nine goals and four assists in 73 appearances in all competitions.
Antony has contributed just one goal and one assist in 29 appearances at club level this term, with the two goal involvements coming against Newport County in the FA Cup at the end of January.
The forward penned a lucrative five-year deal upon his arrival at Old Trafford, but there have been claims that Man United could look to offload him during the summer market.
Antony still being investigated by both the Greater Manchester Police and Sao Paulo Civil Police following accusations from his ex-girlfriend.
Gabriela Cavallin is claiming that the forward assaulted her on multiple occasions during their relationship, with the alleged incidents said to have happened in both Brazil and England, and Antony was given a leave of absence earlier this season to deal with the situation.
Antony has always denied any form of physical violence and continues to work with the police in an attempt to clear his name, with the investigations still ongoing.
The forward has not been arrested or charged and remains involved at Man United, featuring as a late substitute in each of his side's last three Premier League matches.
However, according to The Telegraph, Man United's chances of selling the South American during this summer's transfer window are likely to be impacted by the off-the-field situation.
The most serious claim from Cavallin involves an alleged incident in a Manchester hotel in January 2023.
At the end of last month, Man United head coach Erik ten Hag admitted that off-the-field issues had harmed Antony's form this season but insisted that was no longer the case.
Meanwhile, Antony's agent said at the end of January that his client would be staying at Old Trafford this summer despite the speculation.
The forward is currently with the Man United squad preparing for Sunday afternoon's FA Cup quarter-final with Liverpool at Old Trafford. body check tags ::
