Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool will reportedly hold further talks with the representatives of Adrien Rabiot this week over a proposed move to the Premier League.

The 29-year-old midfielder is currently a free agent after his contract with Serie A giants Juventus expired on June 30.

Rabiot made a total of 212 appearances for Juve across all tournaments during a five-year spell at the club, scoring 22 goals, providing 14 assists and winning four trophies including the 2019-20 Serie A title.

The France international stated earlier this summer that he will make a decision over his club future after representing his country at Euro 2024, but his next career move still remain uncertain almost a month on from Les Bleus's semi-final defeat to European champions Spain.

Rabiot has been linked with a host of top European clubs for some time, with a possible summer switch to the Premier League considered a viable option for the midfielder.

PL trio to battle for Rabiot signature?

Earlier this year, Rabiot admitted that he 'still has the desire' to 'play in England' and 'evolve in the Premier League', alerting clubs including Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

According to CaughtOffside, all three clubs have already held talks with Rabiot's representatives and another round of discussions is set to take place this week.

The report adds that Rabiot is demanding a salary between €10m (£8.6m) and €15m (£12.9m) annually over a three-year contract.

All three Premier League clubs have seemingly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Rabiot, as it is understood that Real Madrid have turned down the opportunity to sign the midfielder.

Rabiot's former club Paris Saint-Germain have also withdrawn their interest, while AC Milan are prioritising other midfielder targets including fellow Frenchman Youssouf Fofana of Monaco.

Who has the edge in Rabiot race?

A recent report claims that Arsenal are currently among the clubs in pole position to sign Rabiot, despite their interest in Real Sociedad's Mikel Merino.

Man United are thought to be considering stepping up their pursuit of Rabiot after missing out on signing Joao Neves, who has completed his big-money move to PSG.

Liverpool are known to be in the market for a new midfielder, with Rabiot believed to be one of many players on their radar, while Atletico Madrid are also interested in the Frenchman, but they may struggle to meet the player's wage demands. body check tags ::
