Midfielder Lassana Diarra has completed a move to Paris Saint-Germain on an 18-month contract.
Diarra had been available on a free transfer after his release from Al Jazira last month, and Manchester United were said to be in competition with PSG for the French international's signature.
However, the Ligue 1 giants have announced that they have won the race for the 32-year-old, who has signed a deal until 2019.
PSG become the 10th club of Diarra's storied career, with the player having previously represented the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Marseille.
The transfer is likely to increase PSG's desire to let other members of the first-team squad leave before the end of the month, with the club under pressure to meet FFP obligations.
