Paris Saint-Germain have touched base with Sergio Ramos following his departure from Real Madrid, according to a report.
The veteran Spaniard enjoyed a glittering 16 years at the Bernabeu, but he is now on the lookout for a new club after it was confirmed that he would leave upon the expiration of his contract.
PSG were unsurprisingly linked with a move for Ramos, but the Ligue 1 giants were reportedly prepared to pull out of the running if the 35-year-old did not lower his wage demands.
However, Goal now claims that PSG have already held numerous talks with Ramos over a move to the Parc des Princes, but they are yet to formally offer the defender a contract.
Manchester United and Manchester City have both been tipped to move for the four-time Champions League winner, while Jose Mourinho is also believed to be keen to reunite with Ramos at Roma.
The Spain international left Real Madrid having scored 101 goals in 671 appearances, but he did not earn a place in Luis Enrique's Euro 2020 squad. body check tags ::
