Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made an approach for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
During a five-year spell at Stadio Olimpico, the Serbia international has established himself as one of the most highly-regarded players in his position across Europe.
Having helped Lazio qualify for next season's Champions League, the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid have been linked with an approach for the 25-year-old.
However, according to Corriere della Sera, PSG have emerged as the favourites to sign Milinkovic-Savic this summer.
Although Lazio are said to have rejected an offer of £54m, the bid is likely to commence negotiations between the two parties.
Despite having four years left on his contract, Milinkovic-Savic could be sold over the coming weeks if any interested club is prepared to meet his asking price, likely well in excess of £60m.
