Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly planning to see off Manchester United in the race to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
While no exit is imminent, the Senegal international is expected to sign for a new club in the summer, with his current side allegedly prepared to cash in on his signature.
Earlier this month, it was suggested that United were the frontrunners for the 28-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best centre-backs currently plying their trade in Europe.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that PSG are willing to hand Koulibaly a bigger contract than what he would receive at Old Trafford.
The report says that discussions have already been held between the player's representative and PSG sporting director Leonardo.
The Ligue 1 leaders are said to be happy to pay Koulibaly a deal worth £10.2m per season until 2024.
