Manchester United may reportedly need to pay agent Mino Raiola a fee of £12m in order to complete a deal for Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Braut Haaland.
United, as well as Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, are considered to be the top contenders to sign the 19-year-old during the January window.
While United would like Haaland to be part of their first-team squad next month, it has been suggested that the Norway international could potentially see out the season on loan at his current club.
The Sun claims that United may also have to agree to hand Raiola as much as £12m, unless they are able to negotiate a lower outlay with Haaland's representative.
Having held discussions with each club, Haaland is allegedly keen for his future to be resolved before Christmas.
