Marcus Rashford has reportedly decided to postpone contract discussions with Manchester United until the end of the season.
The previously untested 18-year-old has burst onto the scene in United's last two games, during which he has scored four goals.
That form had resulted in speculation that the Red Devils were keen to begin negotiations over a fresh deal, with his current terms due to expire in 2017.
However, The Mirror claims that Rashford is prepared to delay talks until the summer so that he can prove he is worthy of a wage hike.
The striker joined the academy system at Old Trafford aged seven.
