Real Betis eye move for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly?

Real Betis are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United defender Eric Bailly during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Real Betis.

Owing to a combination of injury and being regarded as third choice by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the centre-back has been restricted to 15 appearances in all competitions this season.

The latter has allegedly resulted in the 27-year-old contemplating his future at Old Trafford, with less than 15 months remaining on his contract.

According to The Sun, Real Betis are keen to hand the Ivory Coast international a return to La Liga, where he has previously represented Villarreal.

Betis currently sit in sixth position in Spain's top flight, putting them in contention to qualify for next season's Europa League. body check tags ::
